Ever since I started this podcast, now over 5 years ago one of my main goals was to help people return to their ancestral roots because our ancestors are the best example we have of health and well-being.
Since biblical times and even before our ancestors hunted and ate meats and fats of every kind, they also gardened and grew their own food and foraged when needed.
Gardening was a normal practice of our ancestors, Jeremiah the Prophet who lived over 2600 years ago said "Build ye houses, and dwell in them; and plant gardens, and eat the fruit of them…” Jeremiah 29:5
What is so beautiful about hunting and gardening is that it is so much more than just providing proper nutrition to our ecosystem of cells. The more I learn the more I realize that the garden is more of a physiological healer where we go to be present and enjoy the moment surrounded by beauty.
That doesn’t mean there will be hard times in the garden, that is the only way we grow but there are ways and tricks to make the hard times a little easier and that is where my guest comes in. Jon wrote about how we can make gardening just a little more easier with over 300 ideas.
His new book Garden Hacks 300+ time and money saving hacks is full of ways to make gardening just a little easier.
