He not only gives us methods but he also explains the how and why breathing is able to change our physiology and help us stay present and calm in any situation.
This episode is full of gems that will help you in your journey to better well-being from how to breath properly to ways we can use breathing to feel our best mentally.
One of the gems I pulled out of this conversation was the importance of inhaling from the nose and exhaling from the mouth when we use breath work to decrease anxiety or stress. I have always just been a nose breathier while I meditate, now I know when something does not go the way I expected, I say “good” and will now breath out with my mouth.
