WELCOME TO THE WELLNESS FARMER PODCAST

WHERE YOUR HEALTH IS MADE SIMPLE ONE EPISODE AT A TIME!!

Jun 22, 2017

On today’s episode, which happens to fall on modern survival week I am taking it one step further. On the last modern survival week I talked about the blackout kit. Hopefully everyone who listened is in the process of building one or has built one and placed it in an easy to locate place. If you were able to find glow in the dark tape and put the letters “BOK” on the box, awesome! Because when the lights out it will be that easier to find! I am beyond excited for you and I know you are that much closer to a less stressful life.

If you haven’t listened to that episode yet I recommend going back and listening to episode 148 first because today I am taking on the 72 hour kit and why it is a great companion to the black out kit.

I wrote an article over 8 years ago about 72 hour kits and today I use that as kind of a base of what I believe to be the principal reason we need to have one and what should be in it.

Of course like in everything we all have our special situation. Let me know in the comments section why you believe it is important to have a 72 hour kit and what your kit contains. I am always looking to learn and improve and would totally appreciate your help on the subject.

If you haven’t started to put one together, now is a great time to start.

Here is a link to the portable water filter I talked about and have used personally and this is as close as I can find to my first aid kit.
