In part 2 I go into how much we should be moving, especially if we are living a sedentary lifestyle. As I have said so many times before, it is a lot more then you think if you are living a sedentary lifestyle. If you are working behind a desk or have a job where you are sitting the majority of the time, to reach the total energy expenditure that our bodies need we need to move a lot more.
Just to give you an idea:
“The total energy expenditure today averages about the same as our genetically identical ancestors energy expenditure at rest!!”
What we expend by exercising, moving, eating, what we expend living our ancestors did it resting.
Lets get out there and move more so we can be healthier!
